Zaara Kittenchops: Illustration Institute 2022
On September 8, Illustration Institute 2022 Faison Resident Zaara Kittenchops talked about her career and cuteness being her sacred space. The event was held at Mechanics Hall in Portland, Maine.
Zaara Kittenchops is an illustrator, graphic designer, and mural artist based in Seattle, Washington. Her art is inspired by all things cute and colorful. Zaara has created interior murals for Seattle Children’s Hospital and designed retail packaging for a variety of companies.
Zaara has worked in-house for Starbucks and has contracted with architecture firms NBBJ, and ZGF Architects. She also makes pottery, tarot art, and does hand-lettering for logos.
